Oscar-winner Hilary Swank stars in the tender drama Ordinary Angels, which screened last night for Unlimited members. The film centers on Sharon Steves (Swank), a fierce but struggling hairdresser in small-town Kentucky who discovers a renewed sense of purpose when she meets Ed Schmitt (Reacher's Alan Ritchson), a widower working hard to make ends meet for his two daughters. With his youngest daughter waiting for a liver transplant, Sharon sets her mind to help the family, even amid a once-in-a-generation snowstorm.

Hilary Swank deserves another award I think - an emotional film, & nice to see Alan Ritchson playing a father figure & not having to shoot anybody 🙂

Like most based on real life stories things are changed a bit for tension & the audience, but mostly sticks to facts.

time. I don’t think there was a dry eye in my screening!
It was amazing, LOVED EVERY BIT OF IT! It was heart touching & emotional, it had me in tears BIG time😭 My second unlimited screening this year that had me like that when I watched the Iron Claw. Great cast, great story, superb acting from all of them, 10/10 ALL OVER. RECCOMEND!!
