Movies coming soon: everything we know about Black Widow

We understand that things are looking bleak at the moment and, frankly, we all need an inspirational pick-me-up. That's why we're looking to the future, to the big budget, big screen blockbusters on the horizon that promise to dazzle and delight in equal measure.

YouTuber and influencer Luke Owen is here to talk us through the upcoming Black Widow. The movie kicks off Marvel Phase Four, reuniting us with Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) as she returns to her old Soviet stomping grounds. There, she must team up with Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), The Red Guardian (David Harbour) and Melina Vostokoff (Rachel Weisz) to take down the mysterious Taskmaster, a villain training their own squad of brainwashed agents.

Luke is here to explain Black Widow's significance amidst the wider Marvel mythology, why it's important that Johansson finally has her own movie, and the possibilities of Oscar nominee Florence Pugh taking over Romanoff's mantle. Check it out below and don't forget to subscribe to Cineworld on our YouTube channel.

Black Widow is scheduled for release (at the time of writing) on 7th May 2021.
