The August movies you need to watch with the Cineworld Unlimited 100 Movies Challenge

It's official: 2019 is the year of film, and Cineworld Unlimited members know it too. In fact, we noticed that some Unlimited members set themselves the challenge to make full use of their Unlimited cards by seeing 100 movies in 2019.

So we thought we’d show you just how easy it is to complete the #100FilmsIn2019 challenge by listing just 100 of the epic movies heading your way this year. From comic book adventures, to Disney favourites, from epic sci-fi to terrifying horrors - how many will YOU be able to tick off?

• 61. Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw – The bickering duo of Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham already highjacked the main Fast & Furious series with their mixture of bickering and brawn. Now their characters are treated to their own spin-off, contrasting Johnson's muscular charisma with Statham's wry British humour. They're on the hunt for Idris Elba's baddie, and the results promise escalating ludicrousness – in the best possible sense.

• 62. The Angry Birds Movie 2 – Those bereft of Peter Dinklage can get their fix in this sequel to the 2016 animated hit. The Angry Birds movie marked a successful transition from app to big screen, and the sequel promises more chaotic comedy from our feathered friends.

• 63. Playmobil – Those of a certain generation are sure to get a kick out of this, as the beloved children's toy gets its own big screen adaptation. Anya Taylor-Joy and Daniel Radcliffe are among the voice cast.

• 64. Blinded by the Light – This infectious coming of age comedy-drama is the latest from Bend it Like Beckham director Gurinder Chadha, and served as our 11th Secret Unlimited screening. Clad in 1980s nostalgia, this story of a British kid from a Pakistani family and his Bruce Springsteen-related epiphany is the kind of feel-good experience one demands during the summer season.

• 65. The Art of Racing in the Rain – Kevin Coster voices mutt Enzo in this uplifting story based on Garth Stein's novel, about a pooch who remains steadfastly loyal to his Formula One race car driver owner.

• 66. The Sun Is Also A Star – College-bound romantic Daniel Bae and Jamaica-born pragmatist Natasha Kingsley meet-and fall for each other-over one magical day amidst the fervor and flurry of New York City. Sparks immediately fly between these two strangers, who might never have met had fate not given them a little push. But will fate be enough to take these teens from star-crossed to lucky in love?

• 67. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood – Quentin Tarantino's ninth movie is a typically audacious and controversial effort, interweaving fact and fiction as it explores the waning days of Hollywood's golden age. Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt are the struggling actor and his stunt double, respectively, whose attempts to remain relevant are intercut with the story of doomed actress Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie), who fell foul of infamous serial killer Charles Manson.

• 68. Uglydolls – Unconventionality rules in UGLYDOLLS, the new animated family adventure based on the beloved toy brand. In the adorably different town of Uglyville, the free-spirited Moxy (Kelly Clarkson) and her UglyDolls friends confront what it means to be different, struggle with their desire to be loved, and ultimately discover that you don't have to be perfect to be amazing because who you truly are is what matters most.

• 69. Good Boys – Who says that sixth graders can't be as outrageous as their adolescent counterparts? This riotously rude comedy comes from the makers of Superbad and Pineapple Express, as a bunch of pubescents (including Room sensation Jacob Tremblay) come to terms with girls, first kisses, stolen drugs and lots more.

• 70. Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark – Guillermo Del Toro presents this creepy story of a cursed book whose stories come to life – with dire consequences. It's based on the American cult novel by Alvin Shwartz and promises to unleash a host of ghoulish spectres.

• 71. Angel Has Fallen – Gerard Butler's beleaguered Mike Banning is back on the Presidential detail in this follow-up to Olympus Has Fallen and London Has Fallen. Only this time, he's been framed for an attempt on the President's (Morgan Freeman) life, and must race against time to expose the culprits.

• 72. Crawl – It wouldn't be the summer season without an aquatic creature feature, and this year The Hills Have Eyes director Alexandre Aja unleashes a host of killer crocs upon hurricane-inflicted Florida. Pirates of the Caribbean's Kaya Scoladerio is among those fighting for their lives.

• 73. The Informer – Caught in a world of impossible choices, Koslow (Joel Kinnaman) must return to prison, where he formulates a plan to escape the clutches of three of New York City's most powerful organizations – the mob, the NYPD and the FBI – in order to save himself and his family.
